A new player just spiced up the city centre โ and sheโs not shy.
Levantine comes from the same crew behind @baobar.lu, and you can feel it right away: good taste, good energy, good chaos.
We kicked off with two cocktails: one with date, one with cardamom.
Mine was the date one โ warm, deep, slightly sweet, basically everything you want on a second date (or a first if youโre lucky).
Then the table started filling up โ and fast.
Muhammara stole the scene first: smoky, unapologetically bold, the kind of dip that doesnโt whisper, it shouts.
Wild mushroom hummus? Smart move. Creamy, garlicky, intense.
Roasted cauliflower & cabbage played the opposite card โ light, elegant, a bit shy next to the others but still charming.
Falafel hit the texture jackpot: crisp shell, soft heart, the kind of balance most relationships dream of.
And thenโฆ halloumi in kataifi. Crunchy, buttery, salty, sexy. If this dish had an Instagram account, Iโd follow it.
We finished with chicken and harissa potatoes โ tender, juicy, and comforting. If only the harissa had the same attitude as the muhammara, weโd be talking perfection.
The space? Bright, warm, Mediterranean with taste โ they gave the old Al Bacio spot a serious glow-up.
Refined but not stuck-up, stylish but still with personality.
Verdict: spicy, social, slightly addictive โ just how I like it.
Perfect for a casual date (maybe skip the garlic if itโs your first) or a dinner with friends that turns into cocktails that turn intoโฆ whatever happens next.
