๐ Odum โ Luxembourg City
Lunch at Odum last week reminded me exactly why this place never drops off my radar.
Before we even got started, the chef surprised us with a little bonus from their Halloween menu โ a fish pie, creamy and slightly spicy, warm and comforting in the best autumn way. Totally unexpected, totally delightful.
Then came the 2-course lunch menu (24 โฌ), which, as always, feels generous and beautifully balanced for the price.
We started with a pumpkin and goat cheese tartine โ pure autumn on a plate.
For mains, L. went for the mushroom chicken with rice and beans, while I chose the roasted cauliflower with spicy jollof cream. Bold, fiery, full of character โ honestly, the best cauliflower Iโve ever had.
And letโs talk cocktails. Theyโre one of the main reasons I keep coming back here. The classics are flawless, the twists are clever, and somehow theyโre always too easy to order another.
A nice touch this season: South African wines have joined the list โ a thoughtful addition for anyone who likes exploring something a bit different.
What I love about Odum is how it blends refinement with warmth. Itโs elegant but never stiff, creative without being pretentious, and every visit just feelsโฆ right.
Still one of my favorite lunch spots in Luxembourg City โ and likely to stay that way.
