π Odum β Luxembourg City
Lunch at Odum last week reminded me exactly why this place never drops off my radar.
Before we even got started, the chef surprised us with a little bonus from their Halloween menu β a fish pie, creamy and slightly spicy, warm and comforting in the best autumn way. Totally unexpected, totally delightful.
Then came the 2-course lunch menu (24 β¬), which, as always, feels generous and beautifully balanced for the price.
We started with a pumpkin and goat cheese tartine β pure autumn on a plate.
For mains, L. went for the mushroom chicken with rice and beans, while I chose the roasted cauliflower with spicy jollof cream. Bold, fiery, full of character β honestly, the best cauliflower Iβve ever had.
And letβs talk cocktails. Theyβre one of the main reasons I keep coming back here. The classics are flawless, the twists are clever, and somehow theyβre always too easy to order another.
A nice touch this season: South African wines have joined the list β a thoughtful addition for anyone who likes exploring something a bit different.
What I love about Odum is how it blends refinement with warmth. Itβs elegant but never stiff, creative without being pretentious, and every visit just feelsβ¦ right.
Still one of my favorite lunch spots in Luxembourg City β and likely to stay that way.
