Oio, Clausen, Luxembourg

There’s little I could add about Oio that I haven’t already written. It’s been our go-to, witnessing numerous family milestones and celebrations.

The menu which changes regularly ensures each visit is a delightful exploration. I find joy in trying new additions whenever they come into the menu.

Selecting a dish is always a delightful challenge. On this occasion, I found myself torn between two primi piatti, eventually opting for the rosemary pappardelle with duck—a choice even little C could enjoy.

We followed with the stuffed guinea fowl, a dish perfectly suited for a cozy, wintery ambiance with its chestnuts and truffle filling.

Our finale involved savoring a cheese platter from Oio‘s renowned cheese Ferrari, complemented by their intriguing new pre-dessert, featuring an outstanding oil ice cream—a trendsetter ahead of any TikTok craze.

For less discerning diners (different from Mr), the tasting menu is a wise choice, offering a variety of dishes in smaller portions and proving cost-effective.

Oio continues to reign as my top pick in the city’s dining scene. It effortlessly combines high-end cuisine with enchanting surroundings and friendly service for a truly magical dining experience.
