Naga, located in Mondercange, is a renowned establishment within the Marc Hobscheit group. Recently, it has come under the management of Concept & Partners Group.
To celebrate this transition, we have been invited to a cocktail workshop followed by a tasting dinner featuring the new menu.
I attended this event with my partner in crime Angela .
The venue effortlessly blends exotic and sophisticated elements, creating an atmosphere that exudes class and glamour. The terrace is an oasis of peace, while the indoor room, with its darker mood, has a more mysterious feeling.
The cocktail workshop was fun: we learned to prepare our favorite cocktails. I chose to make a classic margarita, and it reminded us Naga is also serving incredible cocktails, both traditional and with their unique Naga twist.
We were seated for dinner and we could enjoy some of the highlights of the Naga menu. We kicked off with a preview of the starters, where my favorite bites were definitely the salmon gravlax, the truffle croque and the chestnut soup.
All the dishes, including the mixed sushi platter, were not only delicious but also beautifully presented.
As main, I chose one Naga classic, le tigre qui pleure. A tender piece of beef filet accompanied by noodle and a (very) spicy sauce. I adored that!
We concluded our meal by sharing a selection of desserts, each one meticulously plated. In my opinion, the lava cake stood out as the best among them.
I loved Naga and would definitely come back again. It’s an ideal destination, slightly off the beaten path, for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends, offering a perfect blend of an exotic setting, outstanding cocktails, and delectable cuisine.
