Last week, as you can see, it was a busy one: on Wednesday I went with Sana to the vernissage in Oberkorn, while on Thursday night I attended the launch party of ShowStyle at Boos K’fe’.

I was really curious to understand the project behind the website ShowStyle, as I am always really interested to start-ups launched by young and open-minded entrepreneurs.
ShowStyle is a recently founded online fashion store that has been created by four young and cosmopolitan people.

There are few concepts behind ShowStyle, as fashion store online:
– ShowStyle is authentic: they sell only great brands
– ShowStyle is local: it is a fashion store online made by Luxembourgers for the Luxembourg
– ShowStyle is single: you have one fashion store for everything (shoes, bags, women, men)
– ShowStyle is open: they encourage creativity, young and new brands.

During the launch night at Boos’Kafe, I had the chance to chat about this project with Damien Olazabal, one of the founders and the Sales & Marketing Manager. As a fanatic of the shopping online, I was curious to understand what differentiates ShowStyle by other fashion store online – like Mytheresa, Net-a-Porter, Zalando.

Damien explained me that, as said above, ShowStyle is created specifically for the Luxembourg market – and for the frontaliers.
That means, for example, that the shipping fees are free to Luxembourg, – and, to me, this is already a great starting point, considering how much other fashion stores are charging for delivering to the Gran-Duchy.
Secondly, the store is promoting Luxembourg creativity, presenting mostly brands made in Luxembourg, France and Belgium. The objective is to ensure a superior quality of the products sold, but also their originality. We all know that the choice for shopping in Luxembourg is not huge – and it is not the first time I went out and meet someone with exactly my same high-street brand dress. ShowStyle sells brands present in Luxembourg exclusively through their website and this for sure will guarantee a creative, unconventional and imaginative choice of clothes.
