La Table de l’Epicerie, Mondercange

Here are the tasty memories of my last 2023 foodie adventure at La Table de l’Epicerie in Mondercange.

Already gushed about La Table de l’Epicerie in a previous review, and guess what? Round two was just as fantastic.
These guys know how to keep the good times rolling.

The onion soup I had as starter was like a warm hug in a bowl and the presentation, inside an onion, was just fabulous.
As main I had, again, the tagliata served on the bone marrow – it was a taste explosion, a dish that’ll haunt my dreams (in a good way) and I would probably order again and again.

Now, about the service – not a perfect match for the high prices, but it didn’t spoil the fun. Life’s all about those imperfect, memorable moments, right?

So, if you’re up for a meal that sticks with you long after the plates are empty, hit up La Table de l’Epicerie.

I love the glamorous atmosphere and if you are living in the South or just want to try something different out of beaten paths, it is a place you definitely need to add to your list. Perfect for a night with friends.

Bonus point: great cocktails and similarly great wine list – we had Elena Walch Ewa in white and a glass of Giulia Negri Nebbiolo with the main, but the card has also some great Luxembourgish wines.
